Claims to be American oil tank

Iran seized a tanker loaded with Iraqi crude bound for Turkey on Thursday in what appears to be retaliation for the seizure of its vessel by Tehran’s arch foe the United States last year, Iranian media reported. British maritime security firm Embrey and its AIS have announced the seizure of a US oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman, Iranian media said on Thursday, citing a military statement. It is unclear why Iranian media reported the ship as a US ship.

America seized Iranian ship last year

Let us tell you that in 2023, the Iranian ship St. Nicholas was seized by the United States. This ship had sailed under Suez Rajon. At present, there has been no response from America on the claim of Iranian media.
