Rafah (Gaza Strip): It’s been four months since the Israel-Hamas war. The Israeli army is continuously carrying out air strikes in Gaza. Common citizens are also dying in this. At least 13 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes overnight in Rafah in the Gaza Strip, the latest Israeli airstrike. The attacks came hours after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected Hamas’ ceasefire terms. More than half the population of the strip has fled to Rafah, which is also the main entry point for humanitarian aid.

The bodies of the deceased were taken to a Kuwaiti hospital. At least 13 people, including two women and five children, were killed in the attacks overnight, according to the hospital. Over the past four months, Israeli air and ground attacks have killed more than 27,000 Palestinians. One-fourth of the region’s population is facing severe food shortage. Prime Minister Netanyahu has said that the attack will continue until complete victory over Hamas. (AP)

Biden speaks on ceasefire proposal in Gaza

US President Joe Biden described Hamas’s reaction to the proposed ceasefire agreement in Gaza as “a bit exaggerated”. However, he acknowledged that “[बंधक सौदे की बातचीत पर] There is some movement”. He said, “We are not sure where this war is going to go and we will continue to negotiate.” Donald Trump has urged Senate Republicans to oppose the bill despite ongoing unrest at the southern border.
