(Gaza Strip): The Israeli army in Gaza became nervous when it feared that a hospital was a base of Hamas terrorists. So the soldiers attacked the hospital. One patient died in the heavy shelling on the hospital, while more than 6 were injured. The bombing in the hospital premises created panic among the patients and doctors. Everyone started running towards safe places to save their lives. Gaza’s health ministry said Israeli forces stormed a main hospital in the southern section on Thursday after a long standoff.
At the same time, Israel said that it has opened a way for thousands of displaced Palestinians taking shelter in Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis city, after which a large number of people left the hospital. Israeli forces fired on southern Gaza’s main hospital early Thursday, killing one patient and wounding six others, according to doctors. The army tried to evacuate thousands of displaced people from the hospital complex. Meanwhile, at least 13 people were killed in Israeli air strikes in southern Lebanon on Wednesday. Most of them were women and children.
3 Hezbollah fighters also killed in Israeli attack
Three fighters from the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, an ally of Gaza’s Hamas hardliners, were also killed. The attacks came just hours after an Israeli soldier was killed in a rocket attack from Lebanon, the worst border shooting in Gaza since the war began on October 7. It also underlined the risks of wider conflict. Gaza ceasefire talks have stalled and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to continue attacks until Hamas is destroyed and those taken hostage during the October 7 attack are freed.
