He has expressed his anger at the accused of making deepfake objectionable video and posting it online. Besides, a compensation amounting to one lakh Euro has been demanded from the accused. This amount is around Rs 90 lakh in Indian rupees. According to media reports, it is being claimed that two accused put Meloni’s face on that of an adult film star and uploaded it on an American porn site.

Father and son are among the accused who made Meloni’s deepfake video. The son’s age is 40 years and his father’s age is 73 years. Together they made an objectionable video of Meloni. Meloni has filed a defamation case against both the accused. Police has arrested the two accused.
This is how the accused were caught
Police said, they tracked the mobile device and searched the accused and then they were able to catch them. He used it to post the video online. The deepfake video is from before he becomes the PM of the country in 2022. This video has been viewed millions of times so far. In this regard, PM Meloni will testify in Sasari court on July 2.

Meloni will donate the compensation amount
On the other hand, the legal team of PM Georgia Meloni says that she will donate the compensation amount of Rs 90 lakh received as compensation to help the women victims of violence. The compensation amount is part of the symbolic action. Meloni’s lawyer, Maria Giulia Marongiu, said the demand for compensation was a message to other victims of such violence.
