Treatment was going on in Pohamba Hospital
In a press release issued by the Office of the President of Namibia, it was said that it is with great sadness and regret that it is announced that the President of the Republic of Namibia, Dr. Hedge G. Geingob died at about 00:04 on Sunday 4 February 2024 at the Lady Pohamba Hospital, where he was receiving treatment.
His medical team, as I informed the nation just yesterday, is doing its best to ensure that our President recovers. Sadly, despite the team’s zealous effort to save his life, fellow Namibian President Geingob passed away.
