North Korea conducted cruise missile test (symbolic)
(Seoul). North Korea has claimed to test a new cruise missile. The tension between South Korea and America has reached its peak due to Kim Jong’s continuous missile tests. Despite their efforts, both these countries are not able to control North Korea. Here Kim Jong is continuously presenting challenges to South Korea and America. Kim Jong has also announced to create a new front against America in collaboration with Russia, in which China is also included. All these activities of Kim Jong are a cause of concern for both South Korea and America.
On Thursday, Kim said he had tested a new cruise missile. North Korea has announced this test at a time when its tension with America and South Korea is at its peak. This report in state media comes a day after South Korea’s military said that North Korea had fired several cruise missiles in the waters off its west coast. However, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff did not share more precise information in this regard.
North Korea busy in developing weapons
North Korea’s official news agency ‘The Korean Central News Agency’ said in a report that the Pulhwasl-3-31 missile is still in its development stage and its launch poses no threat to the neighbors. The report said the missile is of “strategic” importance. Tension has increased on the Korean Peninsula in recent months. North Korea is rapidly developing weapons and has also threatened the US and its Asian allies to give a befitting reply to any provocation. (AP)
