According to the information, amidst the changing security scenario in Europe, Denmark has decided to recruit women in its army. With this, the service period in the army for men and women will be increased from 4 months to 11 months.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said that we are going to expand recruitment in the army. The aim of the new strategy is to increase the ratio of youth in the army. Currently international systems are being challenged. In such a situation, we are not getting organized in search of war, destruction or pain, but are getting organized to avoid war.
According to international media, at present there are 9000 professional soldiers in the Danish army and about 4700 soldiers are undergoing initial training. Denmark, a founding member of NATO, intends to increase defense spending by 40.5 billion Danish crowns, or about $5.9 billion, in the next five years.
Russia will send army to Finland border
