India on Wednesday completely rejected the comments made by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) after the Supreme Court approved the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. India said the statement was based on misinformation and ill intentions. Article 370 provided special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, “The comments made by the OIC at the instigation of (a country) that repeatedly violates human rights and promotes cross-border terrorism without any remorse make its actions even more suspicious.” Is.
Bagchi did not take the name of any country, but was clearly referring to Pakistan. He said, “India rejects the statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the decision of the Supreme Court. It is based on misinformation and ill intentions.” Bagchi said, “The OIC has done this at the behest of a country that repeatedly violates human rights and promotes cross-border terrorism without any remorse and the same Makes his action more suspicious. Islamic countries had expressed concern
The Supreme Court had absolutely justified the decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and said that it was a temporary provision. After the Supreme Court’s decision came in favor of the Indian government, the OIC General Secretariat on Tuesday expressed concern over the Supreme Court’s decision.
