Pakistani LeT Terrorist Killed: Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Akram Ghazi has been shot dead by unknown people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. This is the second time in the last one week, when a terrorist was killed and he was the most wanted in India. Times of India quoted sources as saying that Akram Khan alias Ghazi was at the forefront of recruiting people for Lashkar between 2018-2020.

In the last two years, Karam Khan alias Ghazi helped several batches of youth to infiltrate into the Kashmir Valley. Apart from this, he was responsible for radicalizing many terrorists. Earlier on Sunday (November 5), Khwaja Shahid, one of the masterminds of the 2018 Sunjwan terror attack, was kidnapped in Jammu and Kashmir. After the kidnapping, his head was found decapitated near the Line of Control in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Pakistani agencies are looking for the reason behind the death of Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Akram Ghazi. He has probably attributed this to two reasons. Firstly, enmity with local rivals including different terrorist groups and secondly, the ongoing internal fighting within its own organisation. On this, a source said that Ghazi was a key member of Lashkar’s central recruitment cell. He was known for giving hate speeches against India.

Akram Ghazi was shot by some unknown bike riders in Bajaur area of ​​Pakistan. This is the second killing of a top terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba in recent times. Earlier in the month of September, Lashkar commander Riyaz Ahmed was murdered outside Al Quddus Mosque in Rawalkot, PoK. He also used to recruit people in LeT. However, the death of Akram Ghazi is being considered a big blow for ISI and Lashkar. At the same time, Pakistani spy agency ISI is trying to reduce this type of murder.

Many terrorists have died in Pakistan this year 2023. These include Khalistan Commando Force chief Paramjit Singh Panjwar, Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Maulana Ziaur Rehman and Mufti Qaiser Farooq. All these people were killed by unknown people in different areas of Pakistan. Last month, on October 10, Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Shahid Latif was shot dead by unknown people in a mosque in Sialkot. He was a member of Jaish-e-Mohammed, the main operator of the fidayeen squad that attacked Pathankot airbase in 2016.
