America Attack on Houthi Rebels: Houthi rebels are continuously targeting ships in the Red Sea. Meanwhile, the American Army, in anger, has launched a major attack on the Houthis. Amidst the attacks on ships, the US Army has destroyed the Houthis’ weapons warehouse. In this regard, the US Central Command says that the purpose of the attack is to restore freedom of navigation by destroying Houthi capabilities used to threaten America and their fellow soldiers in the Red Sea and surrounding waterways.

Ever since the Israel-Hamas war began, Yemen’s Houthi rebels have been continuously targeting ships in the Red Sea. Especially international merchant ships belonging to America and its allied countries. In such a situation, many countries including America and Britain have given open warnings, but the Houthis are not desisting from their actions. In such a situation, America has once again taken strict action. It launched powerful self-defense attacks in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen amid increasing tensions in the Red Sea. Even before these attacks, last week on February 19, Sham forces had detected and destroyed an air attack missile in the Houthi controlled areas of Yemen.

Know what damage the American attacks caused?

The US Central Command said the strike destroyed two mobile anti-ship cruise missiles, three unmanned surface ships and a one-pronged attack unmanned aerial vehicle. The military said the strike was aimed at restoring freedom of navigation by destroying Houthi capabilities used to threaten U.S. and partner forces in the Red Sea and surrounding waterways. US Central Command reported that USV and ASCM weapons were ready to strike. At the same time, unmanned aerial vehicles were roaming over the Red Sea.

Later it was revealed that they were going to attack. In such a situation, sensing the danger to merchant ships and US Navy ships in the Red Sea, it was decided to attack. “At 4:45 pm on February 26, US Central Command forces destroyed three unmanned surface ships, two mobile anti-ship cruise missiles, and a one-way attack unmanned aerial vehicle in self-defense,” Centcom said.
