Peru River Dolphin Fossil: A 16 million year old fossilized skull of a river dolphin has been found in Peru. According to scientists, the special thing is that its close relative is the South Asian river dolphin in the Ganga river of India. Scientists are considering this discovery important and dolphin paleontologist Rodolfo Salas said that the skull belonged to the largest dolphin known to live in the waters of South America.
