The situation in Haiti is getting out of control.

Port-au-Prince: The situation in Haiti, a country located in the Caribbean Sea, has become very bad these days. According to reports, in the early hours of Monday, armed gangs carried out attacks in the surrounding areas of Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, in which at least a dozen people are reported to have been killed. It is being reported that armed men looted houses in Labule and Thomasin areas, forcing people to flee while some appealed to the police for help through radio stations.

Photojournalist saw 12 dead bodies on the streets

Let us tell you that despite the attacks by violent gangs on February 29 in Port-au-Prince, the situation in the surrounding areas was peaceful. An AP photojournalist saw the bodies of at least 12 men in the streets of Pétionville, near the Labouille and Thomassin neighborhoods. According to experts, due to the violence of criminal gangs in Haiti, a situation like a small civil war has arisen. Armed gangs in Haiti recently burned police stations, attacked the main airport and targeted the country’s two largest prisons. Hundreds of people have been killed and more than 15,000 Haitians have been rendered homeless in these violent attacks that began demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry.

India will evacuate its citizens from Haiti!

The Foreign Ministry said on Friday that it was considering evacuating 90 of its citizens in view of the deteriorating law and order situation in Haiti. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal had said that 75 to 90 Indians are present in Haiti, of whom about 60 have registered with Indian authorities to return to India ‘if the need arises’. He said, ‘We are ready to evacuate everyone from there.’ Let us tell you that India does not have an embassy in Haiti and the situation in the country is being monitored through the Indian Mission located in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic.
