In such a situation, there is a storm in the Red Sea. America has launched its most dangerous warships into the Red Sea to respond to terrorist attacks by Yemen’s rebels and Houthis. Warships of many other countries including France, Japan are also keeping vigil in the Red Sea. At the same time, India is keeping an eye on the rapidly changing situation in the Red Sea from moment to moment.

On the current situation in the Red Sea, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi says, “India has always been a supporter of free movement of commercial shipping. So this is something that we are interested in. We are, of course, very supportive of the free movement of commercial shipping. We are monitoring the developments. We are also part of the international efforts to ensure free shipping. Be it ship piracy or any other crime, India has always been committed to stop such activities. Therefore, India is Fulfilling international responsibility, India is keeping an eye on every situation in the Red Sea. Bagchi said that India has been involved in every effort for international peace. Therefore, we will continue to monitor the Red Sea.

Increasing threat of third world war

The actions of America, France, Japan and other European countries against Yemen’s attack in the Red Sea have increased the risk of a third world war. America has taken a tough stance to respond to terrorist attacks in the Red Sea. Along with Yemen, Lebanon and Iran have also increased the deployment of their warships in the Red Sea. Indian warships are also on patrol to maintain peace and security in the Red Sea. In such a situation, the Red Sea has become the main center of tension in the world.
