A Hindu woman contesting elections for the first time in Pakistan has said such things about India that all the Pakistanis are shocked. This woman is contesting elections from a place in Pakistan which is a very disturbed and terrorism affected area. But a Hindu woman has shown courage to contest elections from here. This is the troubled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The first Hindu candidate to contest the general elections from Buner constituency here is Dr. Saveera Prakash. She has said that if she wins the election, she will help build diplomatic bridges between Pakistan and India.

Sawira, 25, a doctor by profession, had last week filed her nomination from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for PK-25 general seat in Buner district. According to Geo News news, Sawira said that she has received the title of ‘Buner ki Beti’, while “Muslim brothers” have not only assured her to vote for her, but have also given their full support. Dr. Sawira said that if elected she would help in solving the problems of Hindus living in Pakistan.

Saveera called herself ‘Buner’s daughter’

Saveera said that she is a patriotic Hindu and her morale has further increased after getting the title of ‘Buner ki Beti’. She said that if she is elected from this seat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, she will play a positive role in the relations between Islamabad and New Delhi and Hindus of both the countries will be able to contact her without any hesitation. Saveera decided to become a doctor, following the footsteps of her father Dr. Omprakash. So that he can serve the patients. (Language)
