In media reports, Kira, a female soldier in the Ukrainian Army, said that rats enter the clothes of soldiers trying to rest and bite their fingers. Kira’s dugout, where she lived with four soldiers, was overrun by a thousand rats. The situation is such that at present one thousand kilometers of front line has become a breeding ground for rats and they are spreading diseases among the soldiers who are searching for warmth and food in the cold season. Videos shared on social media by Ukrainian and Russian soldiers show rats being found under beds, in backpacks, electrical generators, coat pockets and pillow covers.
25 people killed in firing in Donetsk city
Meanwhile, the war between Russia and Ukraine continues. According to the information, 25 people died in heavy firing on Sunday in a market located on the outskirts of Russian-occupied Donetsk city. Alexey Kulemgin, mayor of the Russian-incorporated town, said 20 other people, including two children, were injured in the attack on the suburb of Tekstilshchik. It is claimed that these shells were fired by the Ukrainian Army. However, Kiev has not yet commented on the matter.
