Presidential elections are to be held in America in November 2024. In such a situation, there is a fierce competition going on between the presidential contenders from the Republican and Democratic parties. Current President Joe Biden is considered to be the strongest candidate from the Democratic Party so far. But Michelle Obama, wife of former President Barack Obama, has now left Joe Biden behind in the matter of presidential candidacy. According to a major survey conducted in America, Michelle Obama is the frontrunner to replace Joe Biden as the US presidential candidate. This is a big demand of democratic voters.

Nearly half of Democrat voters surveyed believe former US first lady Michelle Obama is the top contender to replace Joe Biden as the presidential nominee, according to a Rasmussen Report survey.
Former US First Lady Michelle Obama has emerged as the leading choice to replace President Joe Biden as the Democratic Party’s nominee for the 2024 elections, according to a new poll. According to The New York Post, a Rasmussen Reports survey released on Monday said that about 48 percent of Democratic voters surveyed expressed the party’s preference for finding another candidate to replace Joe Biden before the election in November. While 38 percent rejected it. However, only 33 percent of Democrats believe the ballot measure is likely to change.

Michelle’s name is at the forefront of replacing Biden

In the survey, voters were asked who would be the most suitable candidate to replace 81-year-old Joe Biden, and Michelle Obama secured 20 percent of the votes. Other contenders included Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, California Governor Gavin Newsom and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Options like “none of the above” and “not sure” were also given in the survey. But in this Michelle Obama remained at the top with the choice of 20 percent voters. After Michelle Obama, 15 percent of the Democrats wanted Kamala Harris to become the Democratic presidential candidate. Another 12 percent said they would like to see 76-year-old Hillary Clinton face 77-year-old Donald Trump in a rematch of the 2016 presidential election.

11 percent people liked Newsom who campaigned against Biden

Meanwhile, 56-year-old Newsom, who has been accused of running a “shadow campaign” for the presidency in the event of Biden leaving office, got 11 percent of the votes. Whitmer, 52, received 9 percent support from Democratic voters. Let us tell you that Barack Obama, husband of Michelle Obama, who was at the forefront, was the US President from 2009 to 2017. Last month, Michelle Obama said she was “terrified” about the potential outcome of the 2024 presidential election, USAToday reported. Biden has claimed he will run despite concerns over his advancing age, while Trump’s popularity is rising despite legal setbacks.
