Imran Khan claimed victory, released video

There is a delay in the announcement of the results of the general elections held in Pakistan. Counting of votes is still going on. Amid criticism of the Election Commission of Pakistan over the delay in results, former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Saturday released a ‘victory speech’ in his AI-generated voice, claiming victory. Did. He said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s ‘London Plan’ failed due to the huge crowd of voters on the polling day.

Imran said in the video message, “My dear countrymen. By turning out in such large numbers and exercising your democratic right to vote, you have laid the foundation for the restoration of freedom of citizens to exercise their rights. I look forward to achieving a resounding victory in the elections.” I congratulate all of you for your help. I had full confidence that you would come to vote in such large numbers. You lived up to my trust and the huge turnout on the election day surprised many people. You have failed Nawaz Sharif’s ‘London Plan’.

Elaborating on his party’s claims of rigging and election irregularities, Imran said, “No Pakistani will accept this (electoral malpractices) and the international media has also reported about it extensively. “Accordingly, we are on track to win as many as 170 National Assembly seats.” My fellow countrymen, you all have set a date for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan. We are winning the 2024 elections with two-thirds majority. Everyone has seen the power of your vote. Show your potential now and protect it.”

Nawaz and Bilawal have held a meeting

Meanwhile, Dawn News quoted sources as saying that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari have held a meeting in Lahore The meeting came soon after Nawaz claimed victory in the general elections held a day earlier and invited his allies to form a coalition government.

Independent supported PTI is moving ahead

Both the PPP and PML-N were part of the PDM government that wrested power from PTI in 2022 after Imran Khan stepped down from the prime minister’s office.
