Pakistan News: When the police could not recover the kidnapped Baloch children in Pakistan, the High Court of Pakistan took major action during the hearing in this case. He has summoned Pakistan’s acting Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar in this matter. Not only this, Pakistan PM Kakar has also been instructed that if he cannot ensure the recovery of 50 missing Baloch children, then he will have to appear in the court on 29th November.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani of Pakistan’s Islamabad High Court has passed these orders while hearing a case regarding the implementation of the recommendations of the Inquiry Commission on Enforced Disappearances. This commission was established in 2011 to trace missing persons and fix responsibility on the individuals or organizations responsible.

Shahbaz Sharif has also appeared

Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had also appeared before the Islamabad High Court in a similar case in September last year. He had appeared on court orders for failing to ensure the recovery of missing persons. During the hearing, Shehbaz Sharif assured the Islamabad High Court to make every possible effort to recover the missing persons. He promised the court that he would not make any excuse.

PM Kakar does not believe in UN data

PM Kakar had said in the interview, “Sometimes, we get such complaints in which they (United Nations) give us 5,000 names and claim that they are missing. We follow the UN’s instructions on the collection of data of missing persons. Not willing to accept any best practices.” Kakar objected to the UN report, alleging that the issue was being used as a propaganda tool against Pakistan. He blamed the forces working against Pakistan behind this.
