CUET UG 2024 Dates May Change: The dates of Common University Entrance Test Under Graduate may be changed. UGC Chairman Jagdish Kumar has told in this regard. He has said that NTA will finalize the dates of CUET UG 2024 only once the dates of Lok Sabha elections are finalized. The tentative schedule of CUET UG was released long ago. According to this, the examinations are to be held from May 15 but this is a probable schedule which can be changed.
Election dates should be announced earlier
In this regard, NTA says that first the dates of Lok Sabha are announced, only after that they will release the final dates of the exam. The schedule of CUET UG will depend on the schedule of Lok Sabha elections. According to the old schedule, the examinations will be conducted between 15 to 31 May 2024 and the results will be released by 30 June.
What does the UGC Chairman say?
Talking to PTI about this, the UGC Chairman said that the exam dates of CUET UG 2024 released by NTA are tentative. Once the dates of Lok Sabha elections are announced, then NTA will finalize the dates of CUET UG.

Exam will be held in hybrid mode
This time many changes are being made in CUET UG, one of them is the change in the way CUET is conducted. From this year the examination will be conducted in hybrid mode. The examination for the subjects for which maximum applications will be received will be conducted offline i.e. on OMR sheet. With this, candidates from rural areas will get the facility to take the exam near their home.
