New Delhi: Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh will go to meet Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda today. Pawan Singh has asked for time after 11:30 to meet JP Nadda. Let us tell you that recently BJP had given ticket to Pawan Singh from Asansol seat, but yesterday he refused to contest from Asansol seat. Let us tell you that on Saturday, BJP had released the first list of its candidates. Pawan Singh’s name was also in this list. Pawan Singh was given ticket from Asansol seat of West Bengal.

Name was in BJP’s first list

Pawan Singh and his supporters were seen celebrating in a video after the ticket was confirmed from Asansol seat. However, later on Sunday Pawan Singh made a post on X. In this post he talked about not contesting elections from Asansol seat of West Bengal. However, in his post he did not clarify why he did not want to contest elections from Asansol. It is believed that he is being opposed because of his controversial songs, that is why he has said to withdraw his name. Although this is not clear yet.

TMC targeted

At the same time, TMC has also targeted BJP for giving ticket to Pawan Singh. TMC says that BJP gave ticket to the person singing the controversial song about the women of Bengal. This reflects BJP’s thinking towards Bengal. However, amidst all this turmoil, today Pawan Singh has sought time to meet BJP National President JP Nadda. It is believed that during this meeting he may demand to contest elections on any other seat in Bihar or Uttar Pradesh. However, it will be clear only after the meeting from where Pawan Singh will be given the ticket.
