Chandrajyoti became an IAS officer in her first attempt, preparations for such a thing

UPSC Success Story: Every candidate cherishes the dream of becoming an IAS by passing the UPSC exam. Some of them get success quickly while some give up and break down when they do not get success. Chandrajyoti’s father was an army man. Being an army officer, his father was posted in many states, hence his schooling also took place in many states. There was a lot of discipline in the family, because of discipline his studies also went very well. After passing 12th, Chandrajyoti took History Honors degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. After this he took a break so that he could prepare for the UPSC exam. In the beginning of his preparation, he focused more on current affairs and general knowledge.

Took help from mock test

Chandrajyoti, who got 28th position in All India in the first UPSC exam, used to study for 6 to 8 hours in the initial phase of UPSC exam. As exams approached, she devoted more time to studies. Used to do mock tests to check exam preparation. To further strengthen his preparation, he also took a test series.

From August 2020 to October 2022, Chandrajyoti did officer training in Mussoorie. After this, she remained posted as Assistant Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs for 4 months. In October 2022, Chandra Jyoti Singh joined the Punjab Government as Sub Divisional Magistrate in Sultanpur Lodhi.
