QS World University Rankings 2024: The list of top sustainable universities around the world has been released by QS World University Rankings. In which Delhi University is the most sustainable university in the country. Delhi University has received the overall 220th rank in the QS World University Rankings Sustainability 2024.
With 220th rank, DU is at number 1 position in the country. According to various media reports, Toronto University is at number one. At the same time, University of California has got second place and Manchester University has got third place. About 1,400 universities from the world were included in the QS Sustainability Ranking 2024.
There are a total of 56 institutions from India in the QS World University Ranking Sustainability 2024. In which DU is number one. Ranking of other universities in this list starts after 300. IIT Bombay has got 303rd number in this ranking. At number three is IIT Madras, which has been ranked 344th. After this, IIT Kharagpur is at 349th, IIT Roorkee at 387th and IIT Delhi at 426th.

In this ranking, Vellore Institute of Technology has got 449th position, Anna University has got 496th position and Indian Institute of Science has got 505th position. Manipal Academy of Higher Education has been ranked 463rd in the ranking. Apart from these, many institutions of India are also included in the ranking.
In this ranking, information about the performance of universities in different indicators is also provided. It is a method for evaluating the sustainability of universities, consisting of indicators designed to measure an institution’s ability to address some of the world’s greatest environmental, social and governance (ESG) challenges.
