Government order issued due to severe cold, schools will remain closed for 5 days in UP

In view of the severe winter weather in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has issued an order to keep all government and government-aided schools closed from January 2, 2023 to January 6, 2023. This decision has been taken in view of the severe cold and dense fog. A drop in temperature has been recorded across the state and in many districts it has gone below 13 degrees centigrade. According to the Meteorological Department, similar conditions will continue for the next few days. The government has decided to ensure the safety of children by keeping schools closed. The government has given strict instructions that if any school is found open, action will be taken against it. The entire state is experiencing severe cold due to icy winds. 

Schools from pre-primary to 8th will remain closed 
According to the order, orders have been given to close schools from pre-primary to 8th. This order has been issued by the office of the District Basic Education Officer. In the order issued by the office of District Basic Education Officer Ram Pravesh, instructions have been given to close all government and government aided schools. It has been clearly stated in the order that teaching work in schools will remain closed for students up to class 8 till January 6. Further decision will be taken after the fixed date according to the weather patterns.
