UPSC Success Story: UPSC CSE examination is organized every year by the Union Public Service Commission. Lakhs of candidates appear in this exam but only a few candidates are able to get success in this exam. Today we will tell you the story of an IAS officer who topped the exam after studying only for four hours.
We are talking about Junaid Ahmed, resident of Bijnor, UP. Even in the 10th and 12th exams, Junaid had scored around 60 percent marks. He did engineering after completing 12th. In which he got 65 percent marks. After completing his studies from college, he decided to prepare for UPSC exam. But he did not have much knowledge about UPSC. In the year 2013, he started studying for UPSC exam. He got full support from his family during his preparation for the exam. He faced many problems while preparing but he did not give up.
used to study for four hours
Junaid used to wake up early in the morning every day and start preparing. Initially he used to study for 8-10 hours. But to keep himself fresh, he used to take help of sports and gym. Apart from this, he also used to go to watch films. He took coaching from Jamia Residential Coaching Academy located at Jamia Millia Islamia. After understanding the basics related to civil services, Junaid reduced his preparation time. Then he used to prepare only for 4 hours. He says that he doesn’t study for hours. It is very important to prepare carefully. This definitely leads to success.
Got fourth rank in All India
Junaid Ahmed had initially failed in the exam. He was successful in this exam after failing in three attempts. But in the fourth attempt he got 352nd rank. But he could not become an IAS officer. He was selected in the Indian Revenue Service. But he made his fourth attempt in the year 2018 and in this he got fourth rank in All India.
