UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had recently started the application process for Civil Services (Prelims) Exam 2024. Every year a large number of candidates apply for this examination. This time also a large number of candidates will apply for UPSC Civil Services Exam. However, the candidates applying need to keep some special things in mind while and before applying. The last date for registration for UPSC CSE exam has been fixed as March 5, 2024.
According to the notification, a total of 1056 posts will be filled through this examination. Of these, 40 vacancies have been reserved for persons with benchmark disability category. UPSC CSE 2024 preliminary exam will be held on 26 May. Candidates scoring more than the cut-off marks in the preliminary examination will be eligible for the main examination. Whereas, the mains exam will be conducted from 20th September. Which will last for five days.
Application fee
Candidates applying for the exam will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. Whereas reserved category and women candidates are exempted from fee payment.
These are the things to pay attention to
- The applying candidate will have to ensure that the photo he is uploading is correct. They should not be older than 10 days before the start of the online application process.
- Candidates should keep in mind that the photo to be uploaded should not be before 4th February.
- Candidates should keep in mind that their face should occupy three-fourth space in the uploaded photo.
- Candidates should keep in mind that the name of the candidate and the date on which the photograph was taken should be clearly visible on both the photographs.
- Candidates should ensure that the photo displayed matches their face in all three stages of the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024.
- Candidates should keep in mind that the scanned photo of their passport size photo and signature should be in .jpg format. Candidates should note that the file size should be between 20 KB to 300 KB.
