Telangana Government Increased Upper Age Limit: People who dream of doing a government job sometimes do not get the opportunity to participate in the examination due to their old age. But people of even older age than before will be able to apply for the government recruitments in Telangana. The state government has changed the maximum age limit for the upcoming recruitments. Now candidates up to 46 years of age will be able to apply for the recruitments in Telangana. Whereas earlier the maximum age limit was 44 years.
The state government has issued an order today saying that in the coming time, the maximum age of the candidates applying for government recruitment in the state will be 46 years. Due to which the candidates will get more time and chances to get a government job. It has been decided by the government that the maximum age limit for services other than similar services has been increased from 44 years to 46 years for a period of two years.

However, candidates should keep in mind that relaxation in upper age limit will not be applicable to some departments including police, excise, fire, jail and forest departments. Let us tell you that earlier an order was issued by the government to increase the maximum age limit for direct recruitment in TSPSC by 10 years from 34 to 44 years. According to various reports, State Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari said that this amendment has been brought to reduce the problem of unemployment and to provide more opportunities to the youth.
