You want to do a film so don’t blame us if things don’t work out later.’ Ananya told that the decision to debut in Bollywood was completely hers.

Ananya further told how she always wanted to become an actress, but the acting bug could not bite her because her father was in business. She said that except on three occasions, Chunky never took her with him to the film sets. Ananya said, ‘This was also something that my parents did not take seriously when I said that I wanted to become an actor. They always insisted on my college and education.’
