PM Modi will attend the consecration of Ram Lalla

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Monday, January 22. The Prime Minister has adopted a strict regime in honor of Ram Lalla, sleeping on the floor and consuming only coconut water. Modi’s association with the Ram Janmabhoomi movement dates back to 1990 when he accompanied Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart Lal Krishna Advani in the Rath Yatra from Somnath. PM Modi also presided over the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ of Ram temple in Ayodhya in 2020. As 73-year-old PM Modi continues his 11-day ‘anushthan’ or special rituals for the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla, here’s how his itinerary is going to be on January 22.

What events took place on Saturday?

The ritual of consecration in Shri Ram temple started on Saturday at 9 am on the fifth day. On Saturday the puja rituals continued till evening. The ritual of Pran Pratishtha started from Saryu River in the afternoon of 16 January, after which the idol of Shri Ram Lalla arrived in the temple premises on 17 January. In the ritual of Pran Pratistha, mainly Vastu Puja was done on Saturday along with the residence of the idol of Shri Ram Lalla. In this puja, Anil Mishra with his family and Vishwa Hindu Parishad working president Alok and others performed puja on behalf of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.

For the consecration of life, the main idol of Shri Ramlala is seated in the sanctum sanctorum and is in various residences. Today, the idol of Shri Ramlala was first kept in the sugar residence and fruit residence. After this, a bath was taken with water containing various medicines collected in 81 urns. Then the residence process was completed by placing the idol in the Pushpadhivas. The process of settling the idol will continue on Sunday 21st January also. The old idol of Shri Ramlala is still present. At the appropriate time he will be installed in the temple with full religious rituals.

Detailed program of PM Modi’s participation in Ramlala Temple Pran Pratishtha on 22 January-

• 10:25 am: Arrival at Ayodhya Airport.

• 10:45 am: Arrival at Ayodhya helipad.

• 10:55 am: Arrival at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi

• 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Reserved

• 12:05 pm to 12:55 pm: Consecration ceremony

• 12:55 pm: Departure from the place of worship.

• 1:00 pm: Arrival at the public venue.

• 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm: Attending a public function in Ayodhya

• 2:10 pm: Darshan of Kuber Tila

Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting temples related to Ramayana. Earlier in the day on Saturday, he offered prayers at Sri Ranganathaswamy and Ramanathaswamy temples in Tamil Nadu and took a holy dip at the Rameshwaram ‘Angi Theertha’ beach. The PM heard the recitation of ‘Kamba’ Ramayana by scholars at Sri Rangam, the ancient temple associated with Ramayana.
