How dangerous can balloons thrown on Holi be?

The colors used in balloons were full of chemicals. Like lead… it can prove harmful for eyes and skin.

Using such balloons causes problems like skin allergy, dermatitis, dryness, chapping, skin cancer, rhinitis, asthma and pneumonia.

Colorful water balloons can cause allergy or severe irritation in the eyes. Chemical burn, corneal abrasion and eye problems may occur.

Allergy starts when water balloons hit the eyes. Due to which it is not visible properly.

This balloon can cause damage to the cornea. Corneal abrasion is an emergency. In such a situation, a doctor should be contacted immediately.

If color from balloon color gets into your eyes, wash it immediately with water or tap water. Because it increases the risk of corneal abrasion.
