According to experts, if someone’s sugar level is often less than 70 mg/dl then it is considered to be low sugar. This is called Hypoglycaemia. This indicates a serious threat to health.

According to health experts, hypoglycemia is mostly seen in diabetic patients who are undergoing treatment. However, anyone can be at risk of this. Hypoglycemia should be treated immediately. Because, if timely treatment is not received, there may be a risk of tremors, hardening of the jaw, lack of understanding and coma. This is the reason why diabetic patients are advised to get their sugar checked regularly.

In such a situation, if the sugar level suddenly decreases, then 15 to 20 grams of fast acting carbohydrates or sweet biscuits should be given immediately. Apart from this, fruit juice, soda, honey or sweet candy can also be useful in increasing sugar. As soon as there is some relief, the patient should be taken to the doctor immediately.
