Ahead of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony to be held in Ayodhya on January 22, the intelligence agency has shared information about the terrorist activities of Al-Qaeda with partner agencies, according to sources. The Central Intelligence Agency, while sharing the inputs, has prepared a handbook of terrorists. Also mentioned is ‘Loan Mujahid Pocketbook’. Sources also said that through this hand book, the terrorist organization ISIS has shared it with the people through social media to mislead the youth of India and radicalize them for possible lone-wolf attacks.
Lone-wolf attack input
The intelligence agency has recently received intelligence input of possible lone-wolf attack threats. The agencies believe that lakhs of people will gather in Ayodhya on January 22, and in such a situation, the agencies have become even more alert after receiving such inputs. Intelligence information from the Central Intelligence Agency has revealed that there is a suspect named Abu Mohammed who is an ISIS handler. He took a book named ‘Lone Mujahid Pocketbook’ to the people on his Instagram channel. His aim through this book is to carry out Jihad and eliminate the ‘infidels’.

The book detailed horrifying methods including setting fire to parked vehicles, causing road accidents, demolishing buildings and creating deadly explosives including IEDs and remote controlled blasts. The al-Qaeda ‘Lone Mujahid Pocketbook’ was first published in 2013 and since then al-Qaeda has published several editions of it with the intention of facilitating lone-wolf terror through online propaganda, an official said.

With whatever is written in this pocketbook, any person can make a bomb or spread unrest in the society. The purpose of this book is to help those who have a radical mindset, especially lone wolves. In Western countries, pages from this book, or articles from PocketBook, come on the radar of sharing agencies. With the help of this pocketbook, Al-Qaeda has successfully instigated and inspired youth to carry out small terrorist attacks within Western countries.

In view of the high profile program of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya, a checking campaign has been conducted on the instructions of Uttar Pradesh Government and Police Headquarters. During this time, UP-ATS has detained three suspicious people from Ayodhya district. UP DG Law and Order has said that these suspects are being interrogated. Till now their connection with any terrorist organization has not been revealed.
