Ayodhya: All preparations for the consecration of Ramlala have been completed. While Pran Pratishtha will be held on 22nd January, the programs will start from 16th January. The idol to be installed in the sanctum sanctorum has also been selected. Giving information about the preparations today, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, Champat Rai said that the idol made by Arun Yogiraj, a resident of Mysore, will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum. Along with this, the present idol of Ramlala will also be kept in the sanctum sanctorum of the new Ram temple.

Champat Rai told that Arun Yogi’s family has been making idols of gods and goddesses for many generations. Arun himself has built the statue of Shankaracharya installed in Kedarnath. Along with this, the statue of Subhash Chandra Bose near India Gate has also been made by Arun Yogiraj. He told that the weight of the idol of Ramlala will be between 150 to 200 kg and it will be the idol of a 5 year old boy.

The height of this idol is 51 inches and it is black in colour. Champat Rai told that on January 22, the Pran Pratishtha program will start at 12:20 and it will be completed by 1 o’clock. After this, PM Modi, CM Yogi and Mohan Bhagwat will express their sentiments. This program will last for approximately 65 to 75 minutes. 121 Acharyas will perform this ritual.
