The new CISF chief Neena Singh is originally from Patna. He has been appointed to the post till his superannuation on July 31, 2024. She is a 1989 batch IPS officer of Rajasthan cadre and is currently holding the post of Special Director General in CISF. She is going to replace CISF chief Sheel Vardhan Singh.

Who is Anish Dayal Singh?

The new CRPF chief Anish Dayal Singh is a 1988 batch IPS officer of Manipur cadre. In the order issued by the Centre, he has been appointed as the Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) till his retirement on December 31, 2024 or until further orders. He was currently holding the charge of ITBP. He was also holding the additional charge of CRPF after the retirement of S L Thaosen on November 30.

Who is Rahul Rasgotra?

Rahul Rasgotra has been appointed as the new ITBP chief by the Central Government. The order said that Rasgotra will hold the post till his date of superannuation i.e. September 30, 2025. Rahul Rasgotra is a 1989 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Manipur cadre. He currently holds the post of Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Vivek Srivastava also has a big responsibility

According to the order issued by the Central Government, Vivek Srivastava, a 1989 batch IPS officer of Gujarat cadre, will be the Director General of Fire Services, Civil Defense and Home Guards. According to the order, he has been appointed to this post till June 30, 2025 i.e. the date of his superannuation. Let us tell you that Vivek Srivastava is currently the Special Director in IB.
