BJP election committee meeting continues, big update on Lok Sabha candidates list may come – India TV Hindi

The meeting of BJP’s Central Election Committee is being held at the party office in Delhi. Party President JP Nadda is presiding over the meeting. Top leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh participated in it.

Discussion possible on names of 125 candidates

It is believed that after this meeting, BJP may release its first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. There may be names of more than 100 candidates in this list. Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, names of candidates from many other high profile seats can be in this first list.

Apart from this, this list will contain the names of those seats where BJP lost in 2019. BJP is trying to announce the names of candidates for these seats in time so that they get more time for campaigning.

There was brainstorming on the names of candidates in the BJP core group meeting.

The party’s core group meeting was held at the BJP headquarters in Delhi on Wednesday (28 February) evening. The names of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 were discussed under the chairmanship of party president JP Nadda. According to party sources, the names of PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah may be included in the first list of BJP. The names of PM Modi and Amit Shah were also included in the first list of BJP for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
