CISF jawan reprimanded by court.

A shocking case has come to light in the Bombay High Court. A CISF jawan was fined for going to a neighbor woman’s house at midnight to ask for lemon. After this the jawan filed a petition in the court to cancel the fine. However, the Bombay High Court has also refused to give any relief to the jawan, terming his action as absurd. The court has also reprimanded the CISF jawan. Let us tell you that the husband of the victim woman is a colleague of the accused, who was on duty during the elections in West Bengal. Let us know what this whole matter is.

What is the allegation?

Arvind Kumar, 33, posted at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, is accused of knocking on the door of his quarter neighbor on the night between 19 and 20 April 2021. Only the woman and her 6 year old daughter lived here. The woman said that she was scared and told Arvind that her husband was on duty in West Bengal and hence not to disturb her. After this Arvind left from there. Arvind has said that he was feeling unwell and had knocked on the door of the neighbour’s house just to ask for lemon. After this incident, Arvind’s salary was reduced for three years and as punishment his salary was not even increased.

Court reprimanded

Arvind had filed a petition against the fine imposed on him by CISF officials between July 2021 and June 2022. However, the Bombay High Court in its order said that the CISF jawan had consumed alcohol before the incident and he also knew that the woman’s husband was not present at home and she was alone with her daughter. The court said that knocking on the door of a woman’s house at midnight, that too just to get a lemon due to stomach upset, is absolutely absurd. The court refused to grant any relief to the accused jawan and said that his conduct was unbecoming of an officer of a force like CISF. (input language)
