CRPF man’s wife kidnapped, lakhs worth stolen from the house; JMM leader arrested on charges

A leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha i.e. JMM has been arrested in Jharkhand. The leader is accused of kidnapping the wife of a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier. The incident took place in Mufassil police station area of ​​Giridih district. Accused Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Pappi Singh was arrested from Maheshpur in Pakur district late on Wednesday evening. The police have also recovered the kidnapped woman.

Wife left home in the evening but did not return

CRPF jawan Amit Kumar Singh, resident of Sihodih-Sirsia of Mufassil police station area of ​​Giridih, has given an application to the police, accusing Pappi Singh and his brother Vijay Singh alias Bajo Singh and others of kidnapping his wife. In the application, Amit Kumar Singh has said that his wife had left her house with two children on the evening of 25th December. After this she did not return home. After a lot of investigation, it was found that Pappi Singh had kidnapped his wife as part of a conspiracy. The CRPF jawan alleges that Pappi Singh has stolen jewelery worth about Rs 15 lakh kept in the cupboard of his house and also his bullets.

Police raided to arrest the accused

CRPF jawan Amit Singh is currently posted in 91 RAF Battalion in Lucknow. After submitting the application, the police immediately came into action. Registering the case, raids were started to arrest the accused. In the application given to the police, Amit Kumar Singh said that raids have been started for his arrest. According to the information, Pappi Singh also threatened to kill the CRPF jawan over the phone.
