Pune: Doctors are called another form of God. This has also been proved by Dr. Sanjeev Jadhav of Apollo Hospital, Navi Mumbai. Despite being injured in the accident, he saved his patient’s life and transplanted his lung. Actually, Dr. Jadhav had an accident in Pune but he did not care about it and transplanted the lung of a patient from Kerala in Chennai.

Seeing the doctor’s devotion towards duty, everyone is praising him. When Dr. Jadhav met with an accident, many of his teammates were also with him. He also suffered injuries but the doctor considered it more important to transplant the patient’s lung without caring about any injury.

Had the doctor not been there, the patient’s life would not have been saved.

The patient whose lung was transplanted by the doctor was on life support in a hospital in Chennai. According to the report published in Times of India, Dr. Jadhav said that if the transplant had not been done on Monday, the patient would have died. Now the patient is completely healthy.

The doctor told about the accident that he was sitting next to the ambulance driver. He suffered injuries on his legs, arms and head. He told that despite the injuries we decided to move ahead. The patient was already on the operation table. We had a maximum of 6-8 hours to use the amputated limb. The ambulance left for the airport at around five in the evening. After the accident, some members of the medical team stayed there to take the injured driver to the hospital. The charter flight landed in Chennai on time and reached Lung Apollo Hospital at around 8.30 pm. The transplant was completed late on Tuesday night at around 1.30 am.
