Stampede in Hasanamba temple of Karnataka
Hassan: A sudden stampede broke out at Hasanamba temple located in Hassan district of Karnataka on Friday at around 1:30 pm. There are reports of many people being injured in this stampede. It is being told that an electric wire broke and fell near the temple. Due to which some people got injured and a stampede broke out. In which many people fell at various places on the road. Many people have suffered serious injuries in the incident.
After the incident, Hassan SP Mohammad Sujita said, “At around 1.30 pm, some people felt shock due to a broken wire. Due to this, people got scared and started running away. Electricity department employees are here. They are looking into it.” Three people have been admitted to the hospital. Some more people have also been sent to the hospital. Doctors have said that all of them are out of danger. There is less time available for darshan, due to which there is a huge crowd.”
