This attack took place in Thanamandi area of Poonch district. After this incident, the encounter is going on between the soldiers of Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police and the terrorists. Let us tell you that till now there has been no news of any casualty in the attack on the army vehicle.
Indiscriminate firing on army truck
As per the information received so far, the Indian Army had received specific input late last night about terrorist presence near the border area and near Dera Ki Gali in the area. Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel started cordon and search operation in search of terrorists. Finally at 4 pm today the terrorists were encountered and firing started. The terrorists fired indiscriminately on the army truck.
three soldiers injured
Officials have said that terrorists ambushed an army vehicle in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which at least three soldiers have been injured. An army vehicle was attacked in Savani area on Thanamandi-Surankote road. The vehicle was carrying soldiers from Bufliaj, where a cordon and search operation has been going on against terrorists since Wednesday. Firing is continuing in the area and additional forces have been sent to the spot.
