Former JNU student leader Shehla Rashid’s big statement on hijab, says- leave it to girls

New Delhi: Former JNU student leader Shehla Rashid, who was once a critic of the BJP government, is once again in the news for her statements. This time Shehla Rashid’s statement regarding girls wearing hijab is in discussion. Actually, a question in which Shehla was asked whether girls should wear hijab or not. Responding to this, Shehla said that I think this decision should be left to the girls. He said that hijab has been forced on girls, while they are free. Further praising PM Modi, he said that Kashmir is continuously progressing under the leadership of PM Modi.

It is their own decision whether to wear hijab or not.

In fact, when Shehla Rashid was asked a question about women’s rights during an interview, she said that it should be left to them to decide whether women or girls should wear hijab or not. She can decide this herself. She said that she herself used to wear hijab when she was younger. In class 12th, she read a lot of Islamic literature, which influenced her to start wearing hijab, but later she stopped wearing it herself. He said that girls and women should be left to choose this option. It should be their own decision to wear hijab or not.

Hijab became a passport to go out of the house

Talking further, Shehla said that for many girls hijab has become a passport to get out of the house. Hijab is imposed on girls, even though they are free. She can decide for herself what she should do. If girls or women decide not to wear hijab then that is fine. Let us tell you that Shehla Rashid came into limelight during the protest with Kanhaiya Kumar in JNU. In those days, Shehla Rasheed was seen continuously attacking the government. Now Shehla has been seen praising PM Modi at many places. Shehla says that the PM is a selfless man, who always takes tough decisions to change India. According to Shehla, many changes took place in Kashmir under the leadership of PM Modi due to which Kashmir is moving on the path of progress.
