Fraud worth crores committed with Mahendra Singh Dhoni, case registered in Ranchi

Ranchi: Former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been defrauded of crores of rupees. In this matter, Dhoni has filed a case in the civil court of his hometown Ranchi. According to the information, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has accused his two former business partners of fraud of Rs 15 crore. Dhoni has filed a case in the civil court against Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Biswas of Arka Sports and Management Limited.

Cricket academy was opened in the name of Dhoni

Giving information about this case, Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s lawyer Dayanand Singh said that Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Biswas betrayed Dhoni and caused him financial loss. The lawyer said that both the accused told Dhoni in the year 2017 that they would open a cricket academy and sports complex in Dhoni’s name. In return for which he was also asked to pay franchise fees.

After this, these people started opening institutions in the name of Mahendra Singh Dhoni across the country. But he did not give any information about this to Dhoni. They were not even given money as per the agreement. After which, on 15 August 2021, MS Dhoni terminated his contract with him. But despite this he continued opening a cricket academy in the name of MS Dhoni. After this a notice was also sent to them but these people were not stopping it. After which this step has been taken.

Next hearing in the case now on January 20

Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s lawyer said that both the accused have caused a loss of about Rs 15 crore so far. The accused has worked with Dhoni before and they have also played Ranji Trophy together. The first hearing in this case was today and now the next hearing will be on January 20.
