Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte
While the BJP clan is getting stronger before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the opposition alliance India Alliance is facing continuous setbacks. The situation is such that differences of opinion are coming to the fore among the alliance of opposition parties that have come together to contest the elections unitedly. BJP is attacking fiercely regarding this. BJP leader and Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte also on Wednesday took a dig at the Congress and its allies, saying that the India alliance will soon ‘end’ and its leader will have to walk alone.
How many seats will BJP win, the minister told
At the party meeting in North Goa, Khaunte expressed confidence that BJP will win more than 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said, “I had said four months ago that India would soon end. That is what has happened. One by one the alliance partners are leaving the alliance. It is February and till March Rahul Gandhi will have to walk alone. Could.” Regarding the political parties included in Goa’s INDIA alliance, Khaunte said they are all taking their own decisions regarding seat sharing.
“The opposition has no agenda for the country”
He said, “One party (AAP) has announced to contest the South Goa seat, but the other party (Congress) is saying that it is not aware of any seat-sharing agreement. The opposition has no plan for the country. There is no agenda, their only agenda is to remove our Prime Minister from the post, but the opposition will not succeed in this because the country is with BJP and Narendra Modi.” (With IANS inputs)
