Vasundhara Raje has been in Delhi for the last 17 hours and was continuously asking for time to meet the top BJP leader. However, neither JP Nadda nor other big leaders gave him time to meet. First it was said that there would be a meeting at 3 pm, then it was said that there would be a meeting at 5 pm, after this the news of meeting again at 7 pm came. Now BJP President JP Nadda has given him time to meet.

Before meeting Nadda, Vasundhara Raje had also tweeted for PM Modi. He had written that the massive victory of BJP in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh is a symbol of the fact that the false promises and claims of Congress did not work in comparison to the guarantees of Modi ji. Raje had also shared the video of the wonderful welcome given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the MPs in the parliamentary party meeting today.

Vasundhara is still said to be the frontrunner in the race for the post of CM in Rajasthan. However, if sources are to be believed, the party wants to hand over the command to a new face. There are many other contenders in the race for the post of CM of the state including Baba Balaknath Diya Kumari, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Kirori Lal Meena. Apart from this, the name of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has also started being discussed for the post of Chief Minister.
