Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has got a big relief. Hemant Soren will appear in the floor test of Champhai government to be held on 5th February. Ranchi’s PMLA court has allowed former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren to participate in the floor test. Let us inform that on January 31, he was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case related to the alleged land scam. Meanwhile, the special PMLA court did not allow Hemant Soren to stay in jail at night due to security reasons.
Floor test to be held on 5th February

Champai took over the post of Chief Minister after the arrest of Hemant Soren. Advocate General Rajeev Ranjan said that ED expressed strong objection to the petition. Ranjan said, “We said that the matter has now come to light and the objective of the ED is not to conduct any investigation but to obstruct the formation of a new government or to topple the government.”
“ED had tried not to get permission”

It is noteworthy that the alliance of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has 47 MLAs in the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly and is supported from outside by the lone CPIML(L) MLA.
