PM Modi’s road show in Kerala

Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on Kerala tour today to participate in a program related to women empowerment in Thrissur. It is officially being considered as the election bugle of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. To congratulate Modi on the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in both the Houses of Parliament, the Kerala unit of the BJP has organized a conference called ‘Three Shakti Modikoppam’ at Thekkinkadu ground.
Women from many areas participated in the program
BJP state unit chief K Surendran has said that women from different walks of life are attending Prime Minister Modi’s program. Which also includes prominent personalities who have made their mark in various fields. “Actress-dancer Shobhana, cricketer Minnu Mani, entrepreneur Beena Kannan, singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi and Mariakutty, who has raised her voice against corruption and red-tapism, will be among those sharing the venue with the Prime Minister,” Surendran told reporters.
Kerala politics is currently dominated by the Left Democratic Front (LDF) led by the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF). The state leadership of the BJP had recently clarified that in the next few months before the Lok Sabha elections, more national leaders will visit the southern state and interact with the people.
