Bengaluru: The controversy that started in Karnataka over Savarkar’s picture has not stopped yet. Now BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal said that if the photo of Veer Savarkar is removed from the assembly hall of Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi, then the photo of late former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru will also be removed. Yatnal said this while talking to reporters on the comment of Karnataka Cabinet Minister Priyank Kharge, in which he had said that the picture of Veer Savarkar should be removed from the Assembly Hall of Suvarna Soudha.

It is not possible to remove the picture of Veer Savarkar

BJP MLA Yatnal said that even if ten Priyank Kharges make such an attempt, it is not possible to remove the picture of Veer Savarkar. If any attempt is being made to remove the picture of Veer Savarkar and Nehru’s picture has been put up, then we will remove Nehru’s picture.

He further said, “We are also very clear about this. Congress MLA Basavaraj Rayareddy suggested that no photographs should be removed and photographs of former Prime Ministers Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Nehru and other great personalities should be put up. There is no question of removing the photo of any great personality.

Yatnal said, “Even today Chief Minister Siddaramaiah mentions the contribution of Mysuru Wadiyar rulers. Minister Priyank Kharge Mysuru They talk about naming the airport after Tipu Sultan.
