New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday hit out at the Modi government over the state of education in the country, saying India will ensure justice for its students in 2024. “India needs ‘Shiksha Kaal’ more than ‘Amrit Kaal’,” he posted on social media platform ‘X’.
‘In 2024, India will ensure justice for students from Modi government’
“India in 2024 will ensure justice for its students from the Modi government as its report card on education is marked with abject failure,” Kharge said, citing the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER). Citing this report, he said, “56.7 percent of students aged 14 to 18 in rural India cannot solve third-grade mathematics. 26.5 percent of students in this age group are still able to read second-grade level texts fluently in their regional language.” Can’t read.”
Kharge shared the video
The Congress president said 25 per cent of youth in the age group of 17 to 18 years have stopped education due to “lack of interest”. Kharge also shared a 35-second video with his post alleging that “BJP is destroying the future of our youth.”
