Khichdi sent to laborers trapped in tunnel after 9 days, emotional video surfaced

Food sent for workers trapped in tunnel

41 laborers are trapped inside the tunnel under construction in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand for the last 9 days after it collapsed. A team of more than 200 people is running a 24-hour rescue operation to rescue them. Meanwhile, food was sent to the workers trapped in the tunnel for the first time on Monday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself gave this information through social media. He told that for the first time Khichdi was sent to the stranded labourers.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that for the first time, Khichdi has been sent to the workers trapped in the tunnel under construction in Silkyara, Uttarkashi, after a 6-inch diameter pipe was cut through the debris. He said that now food items, medicines and other items will be easily sent to the workers as per requirement through the pipeline. The teams of central agencies, SDRF and state administration engaged in rescue operations are working tirelessly. We are working on a war footing to evacuate all the workers safely.

Plan to send other essential goods

Apart from radio sets, chargers and batteries, there is a plan to send medicines, oranges and juice through pipeline to the workers trapped in the tunnel under construction in Silkyara. After this big relief given to the workers, their families are happy. They are waiting for his return.

The accident happened at 4 am on November 12

Let us tell you that the accident took place in Silkyara Tunnel at 4 am on November 12. Soil sank 60 meters within 200 meters of the entry point of the tunnel. 41 laborers got trapped inside. During the rescue on November 16, more stones fell from the tunnel, due to which the debris spread to a total of 70 meters.
