Train late due to dense fog
New Delhi: Dense fog is still occurring in many states of the country including Delhi. Train and flight services have been affected even today due to dense fog. Many trains are running late due to dense fog across North India. Due to this, passengers are facing problems. Raju Kumar, a passenger at Delhi Railway Station, said, I had to go to Assam but after coming here I came to know that my train has been cancelled. No reason was given for cancellation. I have been told that the train will go tomorrow.
Passengers expressed their pain
Prashant, another passenger, said, “This time the train came very late. My train was running slowly ever since it reached Deen Dayal Upadhyay station. The train was supposed to reach yesterday at 3:30 pm but it arrived at 12 midnight. Reached at :30 pm. That’s why I stayed here at night. There was no stopping facility for passengers here. The train got late by more than 8 hours.
Many flights late from Delhi airport
At the same time, delays in many flights have been reported due to dense fog at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. The airport has issued an advisory for passengers. The Meteorological Department said that the fog situation at IGI Airport improved significantly today. The lowest visibility was 150 meters this morning in dense fog and the Runway Visual Range (RVR) was between 400 meters to 800 meters.
Flight delayed by several hours
On the delay of flights, a passenger Mohammad Shahrukh says, my flight is delayed by about 3 hours. We had to attend an important event but due to this delay we will not be able to attend it. A lot of people are facing difficulties due to delay in flights.
Advisory issued
Let us tell you that due to low visibility due to dense fog, train operations were also affected on Thursday and 22 trains coming to Delhi were running behind schedule. An advisory has been issued in view of the dense fog, under which drivers have been advised to use ‘fog lights’ and passengers have been advised to be aware of the timings of flights, trains and state transport buses.
