Farmers have been agitating for the last few days on the border of Delhi regarding their demands. Naxalites have supported this movement of farmers. Naxalites have issued a letter calling upon the government to teach a lesson to those who are treating farmers like enemies. In the letter issued by the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee of Naxalites, it was said that the farmers are agitating in a democratic manner for 13 demands like Support Price Act, implementation of Swaminathan Commission, loan waiver etc. The farmers marching towards Delhi to fulfill these demands have been stopped at the Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana, but the government is treating the Annadata farmers like enemies by erecting a concrete wall and using police force. . Firing was also done to suppress the movement. Also, farmers are being addressed as terrorists and traitors.

“Pressure mechanisms are being used”
Naxalites said that pressure mechanisms are being used by the government to suppress the farmers’ movement. It has been said in the Naxalite leaflet that a similar pressure mechanism will be started in the tribal areas also. By not implementing the Fifth Schedule in tribal dominated areas, their water, forests and land are being encroached upon. Loans worth Rs 7-8 lakh crore of some capitalists were waived off. All facilities are being provided to them keeping rules and regulations in mind. Trees of Sahadev forest of Chhattisgarh are being cut for minerals. The leaflet has been accused of violating all environment related laws by deploying police force on a large scale in Bastar.
Call to teach the government a lesson
In their pamphlet published, the Naxalites said that those opposing the government are being declared traitors and Naxalites. Naxalites called for everyone to teach this government a lesson.
